I was approached in late 2018 about a common problem a lot of my clients and some management consultants face: re-using the same blocks of text repeatedly. After much research and three rounds of high-fidelity prototypes, we created Paprwork to solve this issue.
In short, Paprwork is a web app that stores blocks of text you use to create documents such as contracts, proposals, due diligence, reports and more. Once stored, you can search through them and apply them with one-click. This saves hours copy-pasting from other documents and / or documents just to make one new PDF.
Paprwork is now a SaaS venture that brings in about €400/month in passive income for me at a cost of approximately €30/mo.
building it all from scratch
To keep things simple and focus on usability, Paprwork utilises a lot of whitespace, trustworthy blue tones and a pop of orange to bring in its playfulness. The app is created in ReactJS and continues to undergo continuous development.
